Trunk or Treat

Sunday, October 30 will be our annual TRUNK OR TREAT Sunday.  This is open to all children who attend church at FUMC, Walnut Street and Mt. Zion and their little friends.  Children may come dressed in costume, or not. Children are welcome to join us at 11:00 AM if they can for children’s church downstairs, and from that time until the end of FUMC’s worship service, we will have fun activities for them both downstairs and outdoors, weather permitting.  Immediately following church service (around 12:15), we will gather on the PCB parking lot and have trunk or treat for the kiddos. Children may come only for trunk or treat at 12:15 if they can’t make it at 11:00 AM for the other activities. Adults from all three churches are welcome to hand out treats – it’s a lot of fun for everyone, and it doesn’t take much time at all. Adults may dress in costume – or not – you may decorate your vehicle trunk – or not – just please bring candy or treasures and stand by your vehicle to hand them to the children. If you can’t come but want to buy some items to share with the children, just leave them with me, Ms. Barb, and they will get distributed.  Thanks to all who bring treats for the children and participate in this activity year after year.  You are much appreciated for the joy that you bring the church children.  Prepare for 40-45 children.
